BaloolaPalooza.com Staff
The people you see here are the few the proud and the brave folks who keep BP.com running smooth between the forums and the columns. Beyond that they are highly accessible and approachable people (well except maybe Bear) and would love to hear from you, feel free to drop any of them a line via either AIM or email or look for them on the forums.
John Morrison

Joe Nichols
This is Joe. 21, lives in a dead end town, works a dead end job. What he brings to BP is a love of the entertainment industry and a wealth of knowlege on the subject. He aspires to one day become a great writer, and if his column, Soundtrack to Life, is any indication, he has a bright future ahead of him. Often a cynic, often down on himself, and can usually be found on our boards brandishing a sock puppet, shovel, and his cache of mod-like powers
He joined with John and Bear on BaloolaPalooza after being a long time poster on the old forums.

Jeff Martin
Jeff, known as Walrus by his friends, is a 17 year old slacker... er, student, from Edmonton, Alberta. He enjoys music, movies, video games, comic books, and a bunch of other stuff. He digs metal and hip hop music, but is mostly too cheap to pay for the massively overpriced CDs, so his column Buried Treasure reviews old stuff that he probably found for cheap or that somebody else paid for. It also reviews stuff that he liked enough to actually pay full price for, which means it must be good.

Brett
Little is known about the man known as Brett aka Vagabond. His constant relocations have allowed him to see the world, yet he can call no place home. The only way to track his journey is to follow the smell of the fresh krylon, or the blood of the lackluster emcees that lie along the sides of his path. As he journeys across the globe in search of the next fresh track to rip, or the next break to chop, he sends reviews of music born of his only true culture... hip hop. His hopes are to share visions from outside the norm, to enlighten and broaden the minds of those who share his space, both physically, and spiritually, and of course to piss most off with his obnoxious comments and views no one could agree with.

Cary Hansen
Cary is a 17 year old senior in high school, currently taking classes in the fields of Biology, Kinesiology, and English. He plans to one day become a successful writer, possibly for magazines such as Guitar World, or Spin. This spot on the BP staff has given him alot of incentive to start writing more, and getting some experience in the field. Aside from writing columns and browsing around on the forums, Cary is an avid hockey player, as well as guitar player, which will greatly effect the inspiration for which he writes his pieces. Look out for his topics on music with underground labels, as you may see them in the mainstream limelight one day. He has alot to offer to the literary world, and your all getting a sneak peak. Enjoy.

Bryan Bishop
It is unclear why Bryan Bishop is on the Baloolapalooza staff. Some believe it's charity. Others think it's Bear, paying off a little of the old 'public service'. For whatever reason, Bryan is around... for better or worse. The Arkansas native is always there to lend a helping hand... unless he's having a violent mood swing, in which case he's best left alone. Remember, that's Bryan B I S H O P, not Bryan A D A M S. We should be so lucky.

Hector is a 23 year old sports freak. He has decided to write "the gut" to live out his child long dream of doing something he loves for a living. While he may not earn a living writing here at BP, or do something he loves where he makes his money at T-Mobile at least he has both of them. In his free time you can find him playing video games, buying football jerseys, or driving around in his 2000 chevy cavalier.

Nina Lutwick
Nina Lutwick (alias Miss Cat Cabana) is a musician/college student/music snob/counter princess at a BBQ restaraunt/ drama fag. She is originally from Long Island, but currently resides in Worcester Mass where she goes to college and perfects having a "wicked good new england accent." In her spare time (which she mysteriously seems to have alot of) she enjoys playing online scrabble, "whoopin' ass" in pool, and quoting south park until someone smacks her upside the head. Her favorite bands range from Nirvana to Sunny Day Real Estate to the Temptations, her favorite color is blue, and is convinced that one day she is going to marry a man who looks exactly like Kurt Cobain.

Richard Kane
Richard Kane, AKA The RKane One, is a guy of 20 years. A guy that rumour has it... is English. And he is, oddly enough. Hailing from some crappy little island that the majority of Britain is blissfully unaware of he works a crappy shift at a crappy job earning crappy money, leaving little time for that little life thing that many seem to enjoy. On the plus side he's the weirdest, most hardcore heavy-hitting heavy metal DJ in town, his base of operations being known simply as "The Pit". Heavy metal is pretty much the central focus in this freakshow's life, though he's also a wrestling zealot. What's any of this gotta do with anything? Maybe nothing, but since you're obviously still reading you must give some sort of a damn. In any case The RKane One now finds himself thrown in amongst the BP elite, busting out The RKane Domain whenever he can to shed light on that which he loves and that which he doesn't. Opinionated? Just a little. Odd? Just a lot. Openly obsessed with the female form? Rhetorical. As Mr. Kane would say... respect and out ya'll!
